Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
In order to treat you in the way you deserve, we have chosen to be out of network with insurance. This means you get one on one care in a private and calm setting. No more awkwardly walking through a crowded PT gym to the 'back room'. You are the center of attention in our sessions and that means you get better faster! This also means we don’t take insurance in the traditional sense, but your insurance may cover the services. We are happy to submit to your insurance for out of network benefits on your behalf. All fees are paid at time of service and any reimbursement by your insurance company is sent directly to you by your insurance company. If you have any questions about this please contact us.
Please note, we are not an enrolled provider with Medicare. This means, if you have Medicare or a Medicare Advantage plan, you will be unable to use your benefits for the service. If you desire to use your Medicare benefits, please seek care from a Medicare enrolled provider. If you have any questions on pricing, insurance, or your steps to obtain reimbursement please contact us.
No. No script is needed initially. New York State does require a script for physical therapy services if treatment lasts longer than 30 days. Should your care last longer than 30 days and a script is needed, your therapist will discuss this with you. You will never need a script for any wellness services.
Patients should arrive at their initial visit having completed the paperwork that was emailed to you after booking your evaluation. If you need copies mailed to you, please contact us. At the first visit, we will discuss in depth the concerns you have and your goals for care. Then a physical assessment including strength, function, and movement will follow. Depending on your condition and complaints, an internal pelvic examination via vaginal and/or rectal assessment may be recommended. You may always decline this assessment if you are uncomfortable. Your therapist will discuss every aspect of the exam before performed. Once your physical examination is completed, your therapist will discuss with you her findings and work with you to create a plan that suites your goals.
You can book online or call to speak with the therapist. Please feel free to reach out to see if our therapist is a good fit for you and your care.
The number of visits you’ll need will depend on your condition; however, most patients notice a difference after 2-3 visits. Because we can dedicate time to you individually each time you are in the clinic, we can often see you less than a traditional physical therapist. In fact, 70% of our patients are seen for 5 visits or less.
Appointment cancellations require 24 hour notice. Your recovery is dependent on your commitment to your care and we want you to commit fully to your treatment. Because we have reserved your appointment time only for you, we do charge a $45 cancellation fee for any late cancellations or no show appointments. We are considerate for medical and family emergencies.
We require a credit card on file to reserve your place in our schedule. We will only charge the card on file for late cancellation, no show and upon request at time of service. You may pay with alternative payment at time of service if desired.
